Drachenhaus

Styled on a Chinese pagoda, this octagonal building was given its name after the sixteen dragons set onto its roof. It was built between 1770 & 1772 by Carl von Gontard, based on William Chambers' Pagoda in Kew Gardens in London. The building was intended as accomodation for the winegrower from the adjacent Royal Vineyard. It has been a café since 1934.
