Marstall - Filmmuseum

Built in 1685 as an Orangerie for the nearby Stadtschloss, converted to Royal Stables in 1714. In 1746 the building was completely renovated and expanded to its present size by Georg Wenzeslaus von Knobelsdorff.

From 1922, the building was used as a museum and exhibition hall. In 1981, it became the home of the Filmmuseum Potsdam, which focuses on films produced by the nearby Babelsberg film studios.
