Normannische Turm

Built in the style of a Norman watch tower, the Normannische Turm was commissioned by Friedrich Wilhelm IV to take advantage of the views from the Ruinenberg. Designed by Ludwig Persius but completed by Ferdinand von Arnim (1846).

The tower was badly damaged during fighting in April 1945, but has now been fully restored.
